On Saturday, October 1, 2005, A Spot For Tea kicked off the tearoom's book club, Talking Over Teacups.  A good cup of tea was offered, mixed with a cozy book and the group
began with a delightful morning of sipping tea and discussing plots, authors, themes and tearooms.

Owner Tammy Seibert leads discussions on each book and you never know what
surprises will happen during the meeting.  We've had Esther's Orange Marmalade Cake from Jan Karon' s Mitford Series.  We've tasted different type of tea and scones from the Tea Shop Mystery Series.  It really is a full sensory experience mixing food, tea and good books.

If you would like to be a part of the Talking Over Teacups book club come by the tearoom, buy your book and fill out the registration form.  The book club meets every other month in January, March, July  and September in the tearoom's Red Room.  We take off November for the holidays.
You can read more about the bookclub on my blog here.
